The music Derek creates embraces soul, gospel, rock, classical, and pop expressions. “Doozies to Daisies”, Derek’s collaborative band project under Archpalatine, produced by Michael Trycieckyj, shows his range in songwriting with a complete 10 track full album. Nova Nation (Villanova University) calls Derek “Arch” as he’s performs “Lift Every Voice And Sing” for their Men’s and Women’s basketball games. Arch also performs regularly with Rusty and Jan of the Malelani Cafe and Philly Cam. In 2023 Derek was a featured soloist for the nationally acclaimed choir, The Philadelphia Heritage Chorale under Dir. Dr. J. Donald Dumpson.
