Rusty and Jan are happy to present two of their favorite local musicians for their monthly showcase at Malelani Café! The format will consist of a 45 minute set for each performer. Join us for what will be an enjoyable and musically diverse evening. There is no cover charge so please support the venue. We are expecting a nice crowd so call Malelani and make your reservation with George! Come hungry and order from a selection of yummy entrees.

Marsha Low will kick off the evening. Marsha is one of Malelani's open mic regulars. She interprets standards and classics with her beautiful soprano voice and lovely guitar playing. Come see this special member of our Malelani family.

Rusty and Jan will perform during the second set. Rusty is an acoustic guitar player who, in addition to being an excellent interpreter of folk, folk-rock, and many other genres, is a fine songwriter. Jan is a classically trained flutist/saxophonist. Together, they create a unique sound that is better heard than described.

Melanie & the Lost Vaqueros will close the evening with interpretations of Latin flavored songs as well as many popular standards. Their group consists of Melanie Jones on lead vocals, Don Garfinkel on acoustic guitar and vocals, Barry Bell on Percussion, Andy Walko on Upright Bass, and Jan Alba on Flute.
