Lyrics

We heard that they were comin’ and they wanted to be fed
So Ryan and Brayden jumped right out of bed
Then Ryan shouted “Brayden! There are dinos at the door!
They looked out the window as they heard the dinos roar

So Brayden got the breakfast bowls, and put them round the table
The dinosaurs were coming, he would feed them if he’s able
So Ryan got the Froot Loops and the flakes made out of corn
And Brayden made some pancakes with the syrup he put on

Green leafy vegetables that’s what we like to eat
We will take some lettuce and you can have the meat
These dietary changes made the boys stop and think

Well, Brayden really likes to please his prehistoric friends
He would find some iceburg just before the breakfast ends
The dinosaurs were really glad they got to get some food
They really like the Greens but to ask would be so rude
Instrumental Break:

And they had a special feast but before they all would finish
Ryan would come running in and say “I found some spinach!”
And then they all went in the yard and played all morning long
And as the visit ended they would all sing out this song

Green leafy vegetables that’s what we like to eat
We will take some lettuce and you can have the meat
These dietary changes made the boys stop and think
If you don’t like leafy vegetables you might just get extinct!
